DENVER, Colo. – Eleanor Murray Carroll Mullis, 92, passed away June 8, 2010, in Denver, Colo.
She was previously a resident of Westminster Manor, Auburn, and prior to that, a longtime resident of Monroe, NY. She was a graduate of Middlebury College, Middlebury, Vt., and received a masters in guidance and counseling from New York University, where she was a member of Phi Delta Kappa honor society. She retired as a guidance counselor from Washingtonville High School. She was active in many civic organizations, including Red Cross, Marta and the Monroe Library. She was communicant of Grace Episcopal Church, Monroe. She was also a lay minister in the Episcopal Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Hodges Mullis. She is survived by her daughter, Carroll (Edward) Buttolph; grandsons, Lee Buttolph (Mary), Daniel Buttolph (Angela) and granddaughter, Alexandra (Andrew) Hoffman; great-grandchildren, Avery, Maxwell, and Charlotte Buttolph, Hayley Sabrina and Elle Hoffman.
Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery, Skaneateles.
