Patti Peeler Mullis

Mrs. Patricia “Patti” Peeler Mullis, 60, of High Point, died Thursday, October 08, 2015, at the Hospice Home at High Point.

Born May 24, 1955, in Guilford County, Patti was the daughter of the late John and Mary Mabe Peeler. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward James Mullis, Jr., her daughter, Elizabeth Mullis, and a sister, Betty Lucas.

Patti was employed with the Village Café Express and had formerly worked at McPherson’s Bar and Grill. She enjoyed working in her garden and tending to her flowers. She also loved entertaining family and friends at her home with meals and cookouts.

Survivors include two sons, Eddie Mullis and Sam Mullis and wife, Jennifer; one grandson, Nathan Mullis; one brother, John Peeler; two sisters, Bonnie Peeler and Ruby Walters; and her special friend, Jamie Tice.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Tim Huffman. The family will receive friends following the service at Christ Gospel Baptist Church, 1013 Old Thomasville Rd., in High Point.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Dr., High Point, NC 27262.
