Peggy Hunter Dellinger Mullis of Charlotte, NC age 87, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at the Universal Health Care & Rehabilitation Center of Concord, NC. Peggy was born on January 15, 1926 in Chesterfield, SC to the late Floyd W. Hunter and Reecie McCray Hunter.
Peggy was preceded in death by her two late husbands Charlie W. Dellinger and Paul Mullis, and also by her two brothers Floyd B. hunter and Larry W. Hunter.
Peggy is survived by her brothers W. Lance Hunter and his wife Phyllis, James R. Hunter and his wife Alma and Jerry Hunter; her sister Bobbie Sue Hunter and also a sister-in-law Polly Hunter and 6 nieces and nephews and 11 great-nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Peggy will be held at 12:30PM on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Forest Lawn West Cemetery, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC 28208, with the Reverend Thomas Gibbs officiating.
Peggy’s family would like to extend special thanks to Nurse Margaret Girard for the kindness, love and caring that she gave to Peggy.
In lieu of flowers her family respectfully requests memorials in Peggy’s memory be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
