Arnold “Dick” Mullis, 70, lost his long battle with cancer on April 29, 2015. Dick was able to spend the last months of his life in the comfort of his home surrounded by his wife of 38 years, Helen, his family and friends.

Dick was an avid fisherman and spent many an hour sitting on some canal bank waiting for that “big one”. His second passion was metal detecting. He spent many hours as he put it “on the hunt for the unknown” and as he’d say “every beep is a treasure waiting to be unearthed”.

Dick was retired from Don Bo Concrete, Palm Bay, where he worked for 25 years as the foreman of the curb crew.

In addition to his wife Helen, Dick also leaves behind his daughter Kizlena Kay and son in law Hank Ray, granddaughter Cheyenne, her husband Jeff and great granddaughter Lyrra Bean and grandsons Caden and Colton McNichols all of Clayton, NC; brother Jerry and sister in law Joan Mullis of Columbus, IN; niece Tracy, her husband Dale and great nephew Logan Ault of Seymour, IN; brothers Rick, Dean and Steve Mullis, sister Nina Frazier and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dick was preceded in death by his parents Arnold and Lena Mullis, mother and father in law Vivian and Herman Felker, father in law Ralph Moore, sister Connie, brother Kenny and sister in law Sherry Moore.

“There will forever be a hole in our hearts. Rest in peace my beloved.”
