I was honored to know this man. I could always expect a warm smile and a good hug from mom’s “Uncle Buck” when we saw him at reunions and the holidays. During the visitation, what echoed in everyone’s speech was that he was just a great, great man. I know he is with Grandma and PawPaw right now!!! We send our love to all of you during this time and will be thinking of you in the days ahead. God Bless you all!

Charlotte, Cheryl and Jerry, you all know how I feel about your parents. They are the perfect image of loving, caring, and nurturing parents and grandparents. Now they are together again catching up.
When we came over yesterday and just walked in, Sam said “You can’t just walk in.” I told him, “No one has ever waited for someone to come to the door.” Someone just always yells “Come in”. Their door and their hearts were always open.
Buck will forever have a special place in my heart. I love you guys and will forever call you my family!

A Prince Of A Man ascended into Heaven on March 1, 2010. Buck was a mans man and a Masons Mason. Buck was what every living person should inspire to be like. Kind, gentle, generous, family oriented, patriotic, religious to name just a few of his atributes. I will never forget our Saturday breakfasts and our evenings of just sitting around his kitchen table and solving all the worlds problems. Buck was a TRUE FRIEND, and I will miss him tremendously.
