I am so sorry to hear of Wes’s passing. I happened upon this school website by Google. Trying to find Dodge County Indians home town (Eastman). As a parent of a teenager, I think God brought me to this site today not by chance but to remind me how precious our children truly are. My heart breaks for you (Wes’ Mama). I can’t say I know how you feel or that I hope time makes it better-All I can say is Trust in God. May He wrap His LOVING arms around you. May you feel His presence EVERY MINUTE of the day. God BLESS YOU.
i didnt know wes but he still some how holds a place in my heart. my prayers go out to his family.
We in Lyons are sad to hear of Wes’s Passing. May GOD be with you all !!!
I would like to start off by saying how sorry I am to hear of Wes’s passing. The family has been in my prayers since that night. I still have my Lolly’s Pre-K video of the class of 09. It wasn’t that long ago that I watched it and remember seeing Wes saying, “My name is Wesley Jackson Mullis and I am..um..I am five years old.” Those were the good ole’ days. It’s devastating to know he is now gone. I know that God has a wonderful plan for him. Maybe his plan was to influence all of us while on this earth. I cannot remember one single time where Wes wasn’t the friendliest person you had ever met in your life. He met no stranger and was loved by all. I think I am speaking for the entire class of 2009 in saying, “We love and miss you, Wes. It was an honor to have such a wonderful friend and classmate.”
May God bless you and see you through this time.
Brittani Wright (Woodard, C/O 2009 DCHS)

You will always be in our prayers, and we will never forget you.
Wes honey! Its hard to go on each day and know you’re not here physically but you’re here spiritally! Its hurts me to the core to know that you have gone on to a better place! I wish that I could have said goodbye to you for the last time! No one can replace you or ever come close to replacing you! You were the most sweetest person anybody could know or would want to know! I love you && miss you ALOT
I didn’t know wes very well. i saw him in the hall && heard ppl talk about him all the time but that was it. After i heard about wat happened, i felt lik a peice of the indians was gone. that is strange since i didnt know him that well.I cant say that i know wat ya’ll are going through, but i’ve been through my little sister die ing and i found that all i wanted to do was forget the memories because all they brought was pain, but later i realized that instead you should embrace the memories, because that is wat truely keeps him alive. you see a part of the indians isnt gone, it will be here forever. 🙂 i hope this helps you in some way.Ya’ll will be in my prayers.

There are no words that can give you comfort, just know that your family is in the thoughts and prayers of many, many people, including myself and my family.
As we sit here and read the kind words of others, our hearts go back to 1996 when we awaited our daughter Stephanie’s graduation who also died in a car accident her senior year. We know there are no words to say to heal your broken hearts and no kind deeds that will change the hurt you feel. We can however offer you truth that we personally know: God doesn’t put more on you than you can bear, even though at this time you believe that He has.
Time will help heal this hurt even though right now you feel it’s standing still.
You will laugh again and enjoy life again…we promise.
May GOD be with you during this difficult time. GOD BLESS YOU.
Kathy and Family,

Dear Family,
Our hearts are filled with sadness and grief but in the midst of the tears we fine ourselves remembering all those days at the Rec. Dept when the boys played ball together not so many years ago. I can just picture him standing there with bat in hand wearing that (as the kids would call it) kick butt batting helment and what a player, like Squash he wasn’t real fast but man what a hitter. Things like that is what has given my heart a little lift. Last nights football game was sad but sweet the out pouring of such love for Wes was at times really over whelming. As you go through the few days, weeks, and months just remember that our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Kind comfort in your faith and just remember that Wes will always be just one thought away. Michael, Wanda and Michael (Squash) Graham
I can remember my son Jordan white, wes and caleb yawn playing football and baseball at the rec together. He was such a sweet guy and as hard as it is there is no answer and no reason here on earth this could happen. God has better plans for Wes he was a good witness on this earth but God needed him with him which is a big honor. Our prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. My son Jordan and Wes were friends, Please let us know if we can do anything. Just believe in God and rely on his strength.
In the short time we knew Wes, he touched our hearts and lives in a special way. We will always remember his smile and the way he made everybody around him feel so comfortable. You will be in our prayers in the long and difficult days ahead.

May God wrap his arms around you all!
