O B I T U A R Y

Mrs. Sarah Jane Shuffett Mullis, the daughter of Dr. and Mrs.
Robert L. Shuffett and the late Janice Egbert Shuffett, was born
Tuesday, January 3, 1961 in Green County and departed this life on
Thursday September 27, 2007 in Lexington at the UK Medical Center. She
was 46 years, 8 months and 24 days of age.

She united in marriage to Jeff Mullis on May 10, 1995 who preceded her in death on July 5, 2006.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Brandon and Abby
Phillips of Bowling Green; a step-son: Mitchell Mullis of Henderson,
Kentucky; a grandson: Cole William Phillips of Bowling Green.Three
brothers and sisters-in-law: Mel and Emma Shuffett, Stan and Connie
Shuffett and Don and Sheila Shuffett all of Greensburg, Pam Brown and
her husband Danny of Tell City and Beth Hauser and her husband Tom of
Rome, Indiana; her great-grandmother: Eileen Allinger of Indiana; her
mother-in-law and father-in-law: Bill and Charlene Mullis of Indiana
the following nephews and nieces: Brad Shuffett of Henderson, KY Landon
Shuffett of Greensburg, KY, J.D. Brown and Will Brown both of Tell
City, Coulten Hauser and Austin Hauser both of Rome, Indiana. Melane
Hall and Laura Benningfield of Campbellsville, Janice Kay, Carrie and
Kiley Shuffett all of Greensburg, Jillian Benningfield, Chloe
Benningfield, Lanie Hall of Campbellsville, Sam Brown and Lilly Brown
of Tell City, Kendall Hauser of Rome, Indiana and a host of other
relatives and friends.

The funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Jane Shuffett Mullis will
be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Monday at the Zoercher & Gillick
Funeral Home in Tell City, Indiana with burial to follow in the German
Ridge Cemetery.
