Major Ronald D. Mullis, USAF (Ret.) -COCHRAN – Funeral services
for Major Ronald D. Mullis, USAF (Ret.), 70, of Cochran who died
Monday, December 11, 2007 will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday,
December 13, 2007 in the Chapel of Fisher Funeral Home with Elder
Sam Bryant and Elder Ricky Harcrow officiating.
Burial will be in Trail Branch Cemetery with full military honors.
-Mr. Mullis was born in Bleckley County, the son of the late E.T.
(Bill) Mullis and Montine Newman Mullis. He was a graduate of
Cochran High School Class of 1955, attended Middle Georgia College
and was a graduate of University of Rochester in Rochester, NY.
-He was retired from the U.S. Air Force as a pilot serving in
Vietnam and retired civil service from Robins A.F.B. He was a
member of Trail Branch Primitive Baptist Church.
-Survivors include his wife: Trellie A. Mullis of Cochran; three
daughters: Barbara (Carl) Thomason of Gilmer, Texas, Kellie
(Donovan) Murray of Lyons and Robin (Ricky) Barlow of Crystal
River, Florida; six grandchildren: Brian (Nikki) Thomason, Phillip
Thomason, Joshua Murray, Rachel Barlow, Jenny Barlow and Lauren
Turpin; sister: Grace (Jordan) Smith of Cochran; three brothers: T.
Jack (Diane) Mullis, Roy N. (Judy) Mullis and John D. (Tony)
Mullis, all of Cochran; step-mother: Pauline Mullis of Cochran.
-The family may be contacted at the residence at 116 Carol Drive
and will meet friends at Fisher Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
Wednesday night.
-Fisher Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
