I first met Paul on an "unforgettable" trip to EM Today in Greensboro
when he travelled with his friend, Bill. After that the he hounded me
on a daily basis to put in a good word with the director at UCEMS to
hire him. He was hired & the place hasn’t been the same since! Ha!
He was a unique person and you could always count on him to make you
smile – one way or the other! He loved what he did & took pride in
his successes. He was a great dad and talked of Lauren & Nicholas
daily. I will cherish my memories of Paul forever. I know that he is at
peace now and I pray that you will all find the same peace… I also
know he had a great laugh thinking about all of us sweating to death in
dress uniforms all because of HIM! With sincerest sympathy…

I just know that Paul and my husband, whom I just recently lost
(Officer Sean Clark, CMPD), are having a great time in Heaven as they
did here on earth. Trust in our Heavenly Father that they are in a
better place and are together smiling down on us. You all are in my
prayers tonight as well as Nicholas and Lauren. Paul came to Sean’s
visitation and funeral. I am so glad to have seen him. He even called
and checked on me a few times. I will miss him greatly. Heaven has
another awesome angel…

You are all in my thoughts and prayers. It has been a long time since I
last saw Paul and as usual he had that little grin on his face. I just
keep seeing him, though, when we were all children at Faith Baptist
with that same grin. Those are the memories we have to hold on to that
carries us through difficult times along with putting our trust in God.
May you all have a peace beyond all understanding for now and always.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
