Paul J. Mullis, 73, of 95 Violet Lane, Ridgeway, died Monday, April 29, 2002, at his home.
He was born on April 1, 1929, in Eckman, W.Va., to George Mullis and Mary Lou Brewster Mullis. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Edna Louise Mullis.
He retired as a coal miner in Keystone, W.Va.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Burnette and Tina Hagee, both of Bassett; three sons, George Mullis and Frankie Mullis, both of Martinsville, and Cullen Mullis of Ridgeway; four sisters, Hazel Musick of California, Julie Bowman of Richmond, Geneva Jennelle of South Carolina and Fay Faulker of Arizona; three brothers, Clark Mullis of Arizona, Pete Mullis of Maryland and Colbert Mullis of Bassett; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Norris Funeral Services in Martinsville and Bennett-Widner Funeral Home in Northfork, W.Va.
