Mullis, Jeremy Scott

740194Jeremy Scott Mullis, Concord, NC

At 5:00 a.m., Monday, November 1, 2010, Jeremy made his final journey home. The family and friends who survive Jeremy have lost a touch of laughter in their lives, and a ray of sunshine from their day. But they rejoice in knowing the family and friends who have gone before have greeted him with open arms. Most of all, that winning smile and bright personality will be missed, but in the words of Jeremy, “Don’t worry about me, me and Paul are fishing”.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, Nov. 2, 6 – 8 p.m., at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland. The memorial service will be Wed., 11 a.m., in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, Midland, Rev. Torban Stroupe officiating.

Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care, 1420 East Seventh St., Charlotte, NC 28204, or to Hartsell Funeral Home, Jeremy Mullis Fund, P. O. Box 100, Midland, NC 28107.

Dear Donna and Family, My heart goes out to you in your loss, my prayers are with you and your family during and after this difficult time. I cried when I read the obituary, I did think of Paul and of Daddy. We have so many waiting for us, I think they are just waiting in the grove like at Uncle Lawson and Aunt Helens’ old house. I love to recall those memories of my childhood, so much fun and love. I love you and will keep you in my prayers. Tammy

My thoughts and prayers have been with Linda Jeremy’s grandmother for the past two days. She has shared how much she loved him with me over the past couple of months. I have prayed that the Lord will wrap Linda and her family in his arms and give them peace during this time. Linda, I am here for you if you need me.
