Earl Monroe Mullis -DEXTER, GA
– Graveside services for Earl Monroe Mullis, 70, of Dexter, GA, will be held 2P.M. Sunday, October 5, 2008 in Buckhorn United Methodist Church Cemetery, Rev. Tim Paulk, Rev. Jimmy Thigpen and G. W. Darsey officiating. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.
-Mr. Mullis was born in Dodge County. He was the son of the late Blanton M. Mullis and the late Lillian Justice Mullis. Resident of Laurens County for many years, he was a member of Chester United Methodist Church. Mr. Mullis was a retired truck driver for Mohawk. He died Thursday, October 2, 2008.
-Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Elizabeth M. Mullis of Dexter; children, Jackie (Judy) Mullis of Dexter, Tony (Penny) Mullis of Dexter, Danny (Barbara) Mullis of Eastman; grandchildren, Donielle Mullis of Dublin, Brittany (Jamey) Sanders of Dublin, Brooke Mullis of Dexter, Chris Rowland of Eastman; great grandchildren, C. J. Sanders, Jeremy, Jacob and Tiffani Mullis; sister, Shirley (Jerry) Braswell; brother, Wendall (Lavern) Mullis; brother, Jerry; and granddaughter, Terri Mullis of Eastman. -Pallbearers: Chris Braswell, Todd Braswell, Mike Braswell, Timmy Mullis, Scott Mullis, Chris Rowland, Michael Hatcher.
