Doris Hinson Mullis -COCHRAN
– Funeral services for Mrs. Doris Hinson Mullis, 85, of Cochran who died October 12, 2008 will be held at 3:30 P.M., Wednesday in Salem Baptist Church. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.
-Mrs. Mullis was a lifelong resident of Bleckley County, the daughter of the late Amon L. and Beaulah Collins Hinson. She was the widow of Milton Mullis to whom she was married for 43 years. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church for the past 72 years and was a homemaker. During W.W. II she was employed with the naval ordnance plant. She was preceded in death by a brother, William Hinson.
-Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Glennis and John Douglas of Cochran; grandchildren, Amy (Jimmy) Williams of Cochran and Eric (Lisa) Douglas of Cummings; great grandchildren, Henry Williams, Molly Williams and Laura Anne Douglas.
-The family may be contacted at the residence of John and Glennis Douglas, 1018 Rebie Road and will meet friends at the funeral home from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., Tuesday night. -Fisher Funeral Home has charge of arrangements
