Barbara Byrum Mullis
Mrs. Mullis, a Charlotte native went home to be with our Father May 15, 2008 with her loved ones by her side. Born August 12, 1939 to the late John and Annie Byrum. Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend of many who loved her dearly. She will remain in our hearts and will be dearly missed.


To cherish her memory, is a loving companion Charles Piercy of Charlotte; and her daughters Donna Howell and husband, Jimmy of Smyrna, SC; Mary Hamilton and husband, Roger of Mayesville SC; Janice Arrowood and husband, Ken of Charlotte, NC; sons, Randy Mullis and his wife, Sharon, and David Mullis, both of Charlotte, NC. She is further survived by 22 adored grandchildren; 4 beloved great grandchildren; 3 sisters; 2 brothers; and numerous nieces; nephews; other relatives;, and friends.



Besides her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Mullis, a daughter, Sheila Brandow and her husband, Orlin; a son, Donnie Mullis, and two brothers, Jimmy and Bill Byrum.


‘Mama We Love You!’


The family will receive friends Monday, May 19, 2008 at Harvest Church, 7429 Tuckaseegee Road, Charlotte, NC, 28214, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with the funeral services to follow. Burial will be at Sunset Memory Gardens immediately after the service.



Memorial donations may be made to the Harvest Family Life Center Building Fund, 7429 Tuckaseegee Road, Charlotte, NC 28214.
The family wishes to thank the Carolina Medical Center staff who so lovingly cared for their mother.

Barbara, Even though we didn’t spend a lot of time together and talk alot,I will miss you so much and I love you dearly.
