MRS. MARY WILL ABNEY MULLIS, age 78, of Eastman, GA, died Saturday, January 7, 2012, in Heart of Georgia Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Monday, January 9, in Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Chris Dotson & Rev. Jimmy McCranie officiating, with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Mullis was a member of Grace Baptist Church, a homemaker, daughter of the late Fannie Mae McDaniel Abney & William Henry Abney and widow of Warren Coleman Mullis. She was preceded in death a Sister – Faye Roland and 3 Brothers – James Abney, Robert Abney & Calvin Abney.
Survivors: 2 Daughters – Judy Pritchard (Mike) of Kathleen and Cherlynn O’Quinn (Randall) of Alamo; 2 Sons – Larry E. Mullis (Deborah) of Eastman and Brian K. Mullis (Leslie) of Zebulon, GA; Sister – Ellie Hazzard (Frank) of Byron; Brother-in-Law – J. B. Roland of Eastman; 14 Grandchildren – Lee Conner, Christine Shaw, Abby O’Quinn, Allen Cartwright, Alwyn Cartwright, Alisa Stubbs, Brandye Walker, Damon Mullis, Dana Burke, George Burke, Seth Mullis, Scarlett Mullis, Jaimee Williams & Barrett Williams; Several Great-Grandchildren; Several Nieces & Nephews.
The family may be contacted at the Larry Mullis residence, 369 Rocky Springs Rd, Eastman, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 6:00PM-8:00PM Sunday, January 8.
