Cochran – Kathy Mullis Smith, age 60, died Thursday at her residence. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 P. M. at Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
Mrs. Smith, born in Telfair County, had lived in Cochran since 1996. She had worked at Moore’s Department Store in Hawkinsville and a homemaker.
Survivors are her husband, Michael Smith of Cochran; children, B.J. Smith, Jared Smith and David Smith of Cochran; step-son, Michael R. Smith, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV; sisters, Susan Mullis (Archie) Winkler of Cochran and Tisshie (Keith) Williams of Kathleen; brother, James W. (Shirley) Mullis, Jr. of Warner Robins; two grandchildren and several aunts, nieces and nephews.
The family is at 117 Smith Rd and will greet friends after the service Saturday at Mathis Funeral Home.
