Brenda Mullis Jones, of Oak Island, formerly of Harrisburg, North Carolina, died April 12, 2011 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington following a tragic fall at home.
Mrs. Jones was born January 29, 1946 in Mint Hill, North Carolina and was preceded in death by her parents Dave and May Bell Mullis and her nephews Rodney and David Rushing.
Brenda is survived by her husband Charles R. Jones; daughter Dana Cress and husband Chuck and granddaughter Taylor; son Kelly C. Jones and wife Amy and grandchildren Olivia and Keaton; sister Pat Rushing and husband Ted Rushing of Indian Trail, North Carolina and numerous friends and business associates from her work as a real estate appraiser in Brunswick County.
Brenda will be sorely missed by everyone who knew and loved her. She requested no service and any memorials be made to the charity of your choice. The family is very appreciative of all the thoughts and prayers that have been extended to them as this time.
