Jeffrey Dean Mullis, 53, died peacefully at home on March 20, 2014 after a 6 year courageous battle of a rare cancer (PMP).
He was a native of Charlotte and was a 1979 graduate of East Gaston High School and a Gaston College graduate. He worked at General Electric for over 28 years. Jeff was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing and camping.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at New Hope Baptist Church with Drs. Ned Buckner and Brandon McCoy officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Gardens, Mt. Holly.
The family will receive friends from6:00-8:00PM Sunday at New Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Rice Mullis, his children, Hannah, Courtney and Tyler Mullis; parents, Doug and Linda Mullis; mother and father in law, Danny and Barbara Rice.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Perry W. and Nellie H. Mullis; Clarence C. Payne and Ruth Norkett Robinson.
