James Leslie “Catfish” Mullis
(November 3, 1967 – April 12, 2012)
James Leslie “Catfish” Mullis, 44, of St. Marys, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2012 at his residence, following an extended illness.
He was born November 3, 1967, in St. Marys and was a 1987 graduate of Camden County High School. He loved fishing, hunting, Georgia Bulldog football, Jaguar football and was an avid Nascar fan. He was of the Baptist faith.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 14, 2012, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys. Funeral services will follow on Sunday, April 15th at Crosby Funeral Home at 3:00 pm, with visitation one hour prior to services. Burial will follow the services at Lee’s Chapel Cemetery.
Leslie was preceded in death by his father, Billy Mullis, grandmother, Mildred Mullis, grandfathers, Warren Lee and Tessell Mullis and aunt, Jane Daugherty.
Survivors include his sons, Brandon Mullis of St. Marys and Josh Carter of TN; mother, Charlie Nell Mullis and sister, Lisa Mullis of St. Marys; grandmother, Pauline Mattox Lee of Alma, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Allison Memorial Chapel of St. Marys and Crosby Funeral Home of Alma are in charge of arrangements.
