Faye Denison Mullis, 72, of Jesup, Georgia died Sunday, February 21, 2016 at her residence after an extended illness.

The Wayne County, Georgia native was a member of Bethlehem Wesleyan Church and a homemaker. She enjoyed being a “Nanny”, cooking and taking care of everyone. She was predeceased by her parents, John M. and Willie Bell Ellis Denison, brothers, John Henry, Bobby and Billy Denison; sister, Linda D. Phillips.

Survivors are her husband of 54 years, Stanton Mullis of Jesup; daughter, Amy (Kevin) Sharpe of Odum; sons, Jeff (Janet) Mullis, Wayne (Tracy) Mullis, and Shon (Michele) Mullis, all of Jesup, Lee (Nicole) Mullis of Atlanta; sisters, Peggy (Roger) O’Quinn, Suzette Yeomans, Mary Denison, Sheree (Lamar) Smith, all of Jesup; brothers, Mickey (Katherine) Denison of Odum; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Chad O’Quinn and Rev. Marion Mullis officiating. Interment will be in Bethlehem Wesleyan Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Winton Denison, Ralph Doomes, Kevin Dunham, Dustin Dunham, Kenny Godwin and Luke Denison.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 prior to service at the funeral home.
