Funeral services for Hilbert A. Mullis, age 68 of East Dublin, will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 21, 2011 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Robert Rogers will officiate.
Mr. Mullis was lifelong resident of Laurens County. He was of the Baptist faith and was a retired mechanic from Southeast Paper Company. He was the son of the late Arthur Mullis and the late Lois Alligood Mullis. Mr. Mullis passed away Friday, November 18, 2011.
He is survived by three sons; Gary A. Mullis of East Dublin, Eddie L. (Marcia) Mullis of Atlanta and Greg E. (Stacey) Mullis of East Dublin; three sisters, Dorothy Hodges and Mary Garner, both of Dublin and Helen Warren of Brewton; two brothers, Ralph Mullis of Rentz and Herman Mullis of Dublin; the mother of his children, Ann Mullis; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
