Gwendolyn P. Mullis, 86, of Johns Creek, GA, formerly of Macon, died Thursday, September 29, 2016 at her residence.

The graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Dziadul officiating.
Mrs. Mullis was born in Hazlehurst, GA to the late George and Ruth Parrish. She was a retired school teacher with the Bibb County Board of Education where she taught at Jones Elementary School. Mrs. Mullis was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Mullis and a sister, Ramona Smith.

Mrs. Mullis is survived by her three daughters: Deborah Lovett and her husband James of Roswell, GA; Jane Mullis of St. Augustine, FL; and Sandra Williamson and her husband Stan of Dawsonville, GA; three grandchildren: Joshua Lovett and his wife Jessica; Ashley Williamson and Jonathan Williamson; two great-grandchildren: James Lovett and Abigail Lovett; two sisters: Angela Parrish and Barbara Hill; and by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
