DURHAM: Ms. Faye Mullis passed away Sunday November 6, 2016 at Hock Family Pavilion after a long battle with cancer.
She was born in Durham County, the daughter of the late Hugh Mullis and Thelma Justine Mullis.
Ms. Mullis is survived by a son, Mitchell Wayne Barker, of Raleigh; two daughters, Christina Faye Barker, of Stem, and Belinda Barker Fields and husband Todd, of Timberlake; a grandchild, Matthew Jacob Barker, of Durham; a sister, Trisha Scott, of Durham; and a brother, Danny Mullis, of Durham.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Clements Funeral Chapel, Durham, with Rev. Norman Gordon officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Durham. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Clements Funeral Home, Durham. The family will also receive friends at their residence.
Flowers are acceptable, and the family requests donations may be made to Hock Family Pavilion, 4023 North Roxboro St., Durham NC, 27704.
