Billy C. Darsey -COCHRAN
– Funeral services for Mr. Billy C. Darsey, 73, of Cochran who died Monday, March 1, 2010 in Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville, will be held at 2P.M., Thursday in Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Spencer Fussell officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
-Mr. Darsey was a life long resident of Bleckley County, the son of the late Clarence M. and Fannie Mullis Darsey.
He was retired from J. M. Huber Corp. and a member of Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church.
-Survivors include his wife, Karene Howell Darsey of Cochran; three sisters, Lois Bryant and Mary Smith, both of Cochran and Lacy Golden of Alma; brother, Dennis Darsey of Cairo.
-The family may be contacted at the residence on Hwy. 112, and will meet friends at the funeral home from 7:00 until 9:00P.M. Wednesday night.
-Fisher Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
