Betty Jean Mullis

Betty Jean Biggs Mullis, 82 of Harrison passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.

Betty graduated from Tyner High School. She had worked at Dupont Chattanooga for over 20 years before quitting to spend time with her husband Charles operating Agnew Hardware, Hixson Hardware, Red Bank Hardware, and Stone Brothers Hardware.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Mullis; sisters, Sandra Burns, Josephine Hagaman and Hazel Randall; brothers, Gary, Charlie, David, Walter Jr., and John Clyde Biggs.

She is survived by children, Carolyn (Randy) Nuckols, Dewayne (Debbie) Mullis, Linda (Dan Jr.) Card and Alan Mullis; 5 grandchildren, Misty (Joey) Connelly, Tiffany (Josh) Harden, Aaron (Amanda) Mullis, April (Michael) Bolton, and Brittany (Adam) Lorenzen; 9 great-grandchildren, Hunter, Haydn, and Hadley Bolton, Mattalyn Mullis, Marisa Connelly, Jessica and Brennan Harden, Sofia and Aubree Lorenzen; sister, Shirley Deems; brothers, B.H. (Elizabeth), Tony and Tommy(Linda) Biggs, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Friday, February 13, 2015 in the Hwy 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Bryan Biggs officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
