Bobbie Faye Armstrong, of Rossville, Ga., died on Thursday, December 24, 2009.
Mrs. Armstrong was born in Chattanooga to Robert and Pearl Mullis. She was retired from Signal Knitting Mills as a bookkeeper and a member of Brainerd Baptist Church. She also enjoyed volunteering as a Homeroom Mom and helping with Girl Scouts as her children grew up.
Survivors include her husband, George Armstrong; daughters, Charlea Stone of Rossville, Donna (Darwin) Akins, of Maitland, Fl., and Leslie (Joe) Johnson of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Jennifer (Barry Burrell) Stone of Chattanooga, Erin (John) Fister of Lexington, Ky., and Joseph Johnson of Chattanooga; great-granddaughters, Zoe and Avery Fister; brother, Richard Mullis of Chattanooga; and sister, Gene Crabtree of Ringgold, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Betty and Edna Mullis.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Dr, Chattanooga, Tn. 37416.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 26, at the funeral home, followed by graveside services at 1 p.m. at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park in Rossville, with Rev. George Clark officiating.
Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 404 South Moore Road.
