Addie Browning Mullis, 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Greenwood Baptist Church, 3400 Gray Highway, Macon GA. Burial will held at Middle Georgia Memory Gardens with Rev. Darrell Watson officiating. The family will greet friends from 12:30 p.m. to service time at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Greenwood Baptist Church, or donor’s favorite charity.

Mrs. Mullis was born in Brunswick, Georgia to the late John B. and Orene Jones Browning. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wilbert Mullis, daughter; Sandra Mullis, son, Ronnie Mullis, grandchildren, Monica, Chad and Amy Ethridge. Addie was a member of Shurlington Baptist Church and Greenwood Baptist Church, a member of the Faith Sunday School Class, Goldtimers and taught a couples class for many years.

She was a devoted and loving, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt.The family would like to share with everyone, their deep appreciation and gratitude for the loving care given to Mrs. Addie during her illness.She is survived by her daughter, Donna Mullis Creighton of Macon, grandchildren, Amanda (Steve) Cleary of Claxton, Brandi Mullis Scarborough of Macon, Brannon Mullis Swygert of Raeford, NC, great grandchildren, Harrison and Avery Taylor Cleary, Lexi and Hunter Scarborough, and Ella Swygert, sister, Patricia Whitley of Douglas, GA and brother, Charles (Pat) Browning of Pensacola FL and several nieces and nephews.
