Cochran – Louise Mullis, age 77, died Wednesday in Bleckley Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 AM at Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Mullis was a life long resident of Bleckley County. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Lilly Mae Garrett Peacock and the widow of Alfred E. Mullis. She was retired for Jac-Arts Label Factory and a member of Union Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors are her children, Tim Mullis and Kip (Paula) Mullis of Cochran; grandchildren, Trevor (Samatha Newman) Mullis of Newnan, Jeremy (Jessica Powers) Mullis of Warner Robins, Savannah (Levi Pearce) Mullis, Sara Mullis and Jacob Lawson of Cochran; great grandchildren, Chandler Pearce and Jaslyn Mullis; her sisters, Wynelle Long and Janie Sapp of Cochran and Myrtle Andrews of Gray; brothers, Braxton (Ruthie) Peacock of Gray and Junior (Lois) Peacock of Cochran.
The family is at 142 S. 4th St. and will greet friends from 6 until 8 PM Friday at Mathis Funeral Home.
