Cochran – Lillian Smith Mullis, age 77, died Sunday, July 23, 2017, at her residence. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at 10:00 A.M. at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Mullis, born in Dodge County, had lived in Hawkinsville before moving to Cochran in 1974. She was the daughter of the late Joseph J. “Joe” and Louise Wright Smith and the wife of the late Roy Cloyce Mullis. She was preceded in death by her brother Harold Smith. She was co-owner of Scotts Bar-B-Que and former volunteer at Bleckley Memorial Hospital and Bryant Health and Rehab Center. She was a member of Cochran First Baptist Church. Mrs. Lillian loved working in her yard and garden.

Survivors are her children, Tracee (Doug) Kitchens and Charlotte (Steve) Cannon of Cochran; her grandchildren, Colby (Chelsea) Kitchens of Atlanta, Carlee Cannon and Dayton Cannon of Cochran; her sisters, Betty (Dan) Cromer of Hawkinsville and Mildred (Neal) Mimbs of Cochran; her brothers, James (Debbie) Smith and Wesley Smith of Cochran; several nieces and nephews.

The family is at 787 Highway 87 North and will greet friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Monday at Mathis Funeral Home.
